In today’s world, nothing is private, especially for elected officials and their families. With that in mind, we would like to share with those who care to know that on December 23, 2008, our marriage ended. We have no juicy details to share because there simply aren’t any. The date of our divorce was a totally random circumstance owing to the judicial calendar. At least it wasn’t December 24th.
Our
marriage was an unfortunate case of two people following lives that
started on the same path, but ended up going in different directions.
Those different directions put a strain on the relationship that made
it impossible to continue on successfully. As anyone who has gone
through a divorce can tell you, it has been a difficult experience, but
we are pleased to report that it was amicable.
We remain friends and now are neighbors.

Neither of us have any intention of sharing any personal details, nor feel a need to answer any questions regarding this very private matter. Both Tanya and I would like to thank those who have already extended their regards, and thank everyone for their friendship and support. We sincerely appreciate it.
