It's not to late to vaccinate!

The Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) Immunization Program will sponsor 3 Influenza Vaccination Walk-In Clinics clinics at city colleges on Saturday, December 10, 2005 from 9:00am - 1:00pm.  The clinics will be held at Malcolm X College, Olive-Harvey College, and Wilbur Wright College.  Chicagoans of all ages, regardless of health, are eligibile to get their flu shot during these events.  Influenza and related illnesses, including pneumonia, cause over 200,000 hospitalizations and 36,000 deaths each year in the United States.  Vaccination is the best protection against influenza, and can save the lives of many people.  The flu season can peak anywhere between December and March, and most often peaks in February.
